Backstory for Aralas:

Name: Aralas Leafshade

Aralas Leafshade was born beneath the towering canopies of Valenwood, where the whispers of the Green Pact guided his people’s every action. As a child, he showed an uncanny talent for archery, often besting his older peers in competitions. However, Aralas’s skill with a bow was not only a product of natural talent—it was a necessity. Growing up in a remote forest enclave, survival depended on precise hunting and a deep understanding of the wilderness.

Tragedy struck when his village was raided by mercenaries seeking to harvest Valenwood’s rich resources. Bound by the Green Pact’s sacred laws, which forbade harming plant life, the Bosmer were at a disadvantage. Aralas and a handful of others fought valiantly but were forced to flee. The survivors became wanderers, and Aralas, consumed by guilt and rage, vowed to defend his kin and their sacred forests at any cost.

His journey eventually led him to Skyrim, a land whose rugged terrain and open conflicts promised new opportunities to hone his skills and test his resolve. Aralas became a hunter-for-hire, navigating the icy wilderness with an unmatched sense of direction and stealth. Despite his stoic demeanor, he holds tightly to the values of his people, honoring the Green Pact even in exile.

Now, rumors of the Dragonborn and the resurgence of ancient dragons have reached Aralas’s ears. He sees an opportunity to carve a new purpose for himself, using his bow to protect not only the remnants of his culture but perhaps even Skyrim itself from destruction. In his heart, Aralas hopes that by aiding this strange land, he might one day return home with the strength to reclaim Valenwood’s forests for his people.
