📋 About This Mod
Updates Ocato's Recital Auto Dispel so it also dispels Silmane's Spell Sentinel, Medora's Memory, and optionally all vanilla Flesh spells.Includes an optional plugin to auto dispel Odin's Ocato's Spell Trigger.
Overview
This is an update to Saend's Ocato's Recital - Auto Dispel that not only ESPFE-flags the plugin, but also extends the exit combat script to affect Medora's Memory and Silmane's Spell Sentinel's auto-casts as of Apocalypse v10. 1, and optionally dispel each of the vanilla Flesh spells. This does mean that the original mod is not necessary for my update to function, however I recommend giving the original mod a download and endorse for its work.
Vanilla Flesh spell dispels upon leaving combat is intended to deal with Vokrii's Ocato's Preparation auto casting your "best" known Flesh spell and cases where an "inferior" Flesh spell is manually casted after Dragonhide expires, but Vokrii is not a hard requirement for this to work. If you want to keep Flesh spells going even after combat, you can pick the "Apocalypse-only" option in the FOMOD to get script files without the Flesh spell dispel loop.
A separate plugin to dispel Odin's Ocato's Spell Trigger auto casts upon leaving combat is available in the FOMOD. This plugin is not compatible with mods that touch OST's spell record out of the box, though forwarding/combining changes shouldn't be a problem.
Technical Details
Earlier releases of Apocalypse v10+ had loop counter retention issues due to MM and SSS sharing the same auto-cast script with Ocato's Recital; these have since been addressed in Apocalypse itself by zeroing out the loop counter in-between auto-casts. My approach for avoiding that issue was to assign separate loop counters for MM and SSS, as below:
Event OnEffectStart(Actor akTarget, Actor akCaster)
Spell TheSpell
Int sss = 0
While i < WB_AlterationMetamagic_OcatosRecital_FormList. GetSize()
TheSpell = WB_AlterationMetamagic_OcatosRecital_FormList. GetAt(i) as Spell
akCaster. DispelSpell(TheSpell)
While mm < WB_AlterationMetamagic_MedorasMysteries_FormList. GetSize()
TheSpell = WB_AlterationMetamagic_MedorasMysteries_FormList. GetAt(mm) as Spell
akCaster. DispelSpell(TheSpell)
While sss < WB_AlterationMetamagic_SilmanesSpellSentinel_FormList. GetSize()
TheSpell = WB_AlterationMetamagic_SilmanesSpellSentinel_FormList. GetAt(sss) as Spell
akCaster. DispelSpell(TheSpell)
Another approach would be to simply call 0 for the GetAt() function if the auto-cast cap is strictly left to 1:
Event OnEffectStart(Actor akTarget, Actor akCaster)
Spell TriggerSpell = ODN_Alt_Metamagic_FormList_OcatosTrigger. GetAt(0) as Spell
akCaster. DispelSpell(TriggerSpell)
Neither of these met
