A lot's changed for this mod with the special edition.  I made a fomod.  Tried my hand at a Moonlight Tales version as well.

What This Does

• []The Ring of Hircine - The ring will now give you the permanent ability Blessing of Hircine which changes the extra transformations into a lesser power that can be used as often as desired.  Will persist even after the Ring is removed!

  []Player Werewolf Abilities - Werewolf damage and damage resistance continues up to level 100, up from 50.

  []Leave Beast Form with the push of a button.  The F key specifically.  You may need to hold the key a moment as the game only checks to see if it's pressed as often as it updates your Beast Form stats.  Uses the same update event to eliminate adding any strain from new script updates.

  []Optional Moonlight Tales/RaceCompatibility compatible version.

  Incompatibility

  • []Any mod that changes the PlayerWerewolfQuest or Ring of Hircine, including their attached scripts.  Modifications to the Companion's main quest (C00) or the patch quest (Patch1_6_UpdateQuest) may cause some issues as these reference some of the abilities of the Ring of Hircine.

    []Any save that was made with an incompatible mod loaded.

    Workarounds

    • []To leave Beast Form without hotkey support open the console with the ~ and type player.setstage playerwerewolfquest 100

      []Create a .txt file in your Skyrim Special Edition folder (the one with the .exe) that has the above console command in it.  Name it something short.  To run in-game open the console with the ~ and type bat followed by the filename without the .txt extension.
