Aela Revoiced

Aela Revoiced adjusts Aela’s vocal texture while preserving the original performance in full. Every pause, inflection, and emotional beat remains intact. The result is a slightly refined tonal quality that maintains her persona while offering a unique presentation for immersion. The ambition is to lend Aela a unique presence in the game without altering her character.

What about the new voice's source? The vocal filter was created from a female rendition of my own voice, synthesized in an online voice studio named Elevenlabs using high-quality AI. Thus, it shares a base tone with one of my other mods - DBVO Vampira - but this rendition has been tuned (and re-tuned more times than I can remember) - to fit Aela the Huntress.

Moreover, I have spent weeks making sure that the vocal filter didn't cause any audio artifacts in the original sound files, which means listening to every - single - wav file I've filtered. If I missed any such results, just send me a message here on the Nexus and I will re-do the line you've found.

I am also the co-writer and co-creator on Follower Dialogue Expansion - Aela the Huntress, where we expand upon Aela-content in the game. Many of the expanded lines you hear in FDE: Aela were jointly written and designed by me in collaboration with Anbeegod long before this revoice project began. FDE: Aela is a large-scale expansion that significantly deepens Aela’s presence as a follower by adding extensive new dialogue that reacts to the player, the world, and ongoing events. The mod has been in active development since its initial release in March 2024 and has seen continuous refinement and expansion through 2024 and 2025. This mod, Aela Revoiced, is another step in this follower mod development, but should be considered an optional addon to FDE: Aela.

FDE Aela 9. 0 is now on the Nexus, and 10. 0 is in Early Access testing phase. Aela Revoiced already covers all the new content.

Claudia Christian's performance as Aela the Huntress is what makes her such an enduring, unforgettable character in Skyrim. Her husky defiance, thoughtful pauses, teasing camaraderie, and sudden shifts to bloodthirsty intensity bring real depth and fire to every line - it's acting at its finest, breathing life into one of Tamriel's most iconic Companions.

This mod exists because of that masterful work, not in spite of it. Every original pause, inflection, emotional beat, and growl from the base game and DLCs remains completely intact. This mod is not about replacing Claudia Christian with some random new voice actor - she is in my opinion irreplaceable.
