Learning Spells without Spell Tomes
By default, AddSpellMenu displays spells which have associated Spell Tomes. This should be nearly all spells you want!
You can enable/disable this feature under "Options" in the menu.

There's a 11 part series on YouTube for anyone who's interested in learning how I made the mod.
I have NOT READ ANY OF THE CODE from AddItemMenu.
We DO NOT look at any of the AddItemMenu code when creating this mod.
We figure it all out ourselves. It's more fun that way!

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 350 endorsements and over 9,000 downloads.
- Directly inspired by AddItemMenu, a proven utility mod.
- Optional SkyUI integration gives a much nicer menu for viewing and learning spells.
⚠️ Cons
- Requires three separate dependencies (SKSE64, UIExtensions, Papyrus Extender), which can be a hassle to set up.
- Last updated in 2021, so it may not be fully compatible with the latest Skyrim versions or newer mods.
- Potential conflicts with other mods that modify the spell menu or UI, given its reliance on UIExtensions.
For Skyrim players who want a convenient way to add spells to their character or NPCs without hunting for spell tomes. Also great for mod authors testing custom spells. Skip if you prefer immersive gameplay and don't want cheat-like utilities.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Install the required dependencies first, then the mod, and make sure to run SKSE64 to launch the game.
- If you have SkyUI, the menu will look much better; consider installing it for a smoother experience.
- Use the 'Options' menu to toggle the spell tome filter if you want to see all spells, not just those with tomes.
