📋 About This Mod
INTRO
The main goal of this mod is, plain and simply, to make female NPCs in Skyrim look real. What do I mean by "real"? I mean natural-looking characters, not cartoons. I mean faces that show the marks of age, the freshness of youth, the portrait of each personal history and background. The beauty that arises from imperfection. I mean human faces, even when the character is not one. You get it.
But I said "the goal of this mod". Was I always successful? Probably not, but It takes a lot of practice (and some awful long time) to produce a realistic face with the available tools. The crucial factor here is user's feedback. Because of their advice and criticism this mod has come a long way from some primitive (and almost embarrassing) beginnings to the current (I would dare to say) decent stage. That judgment is up to you, anyways.
One thing you should know right now (so you don't waste your time): this is not an original-faithful improvement on the characters. These are female NPCs AS I IMAGINE THEM, not necessarily as they were created by Bethesda. Please remember that.

INSTALLATION & FILES
Under Files tab you will find the main version of A Rose in the Snow - Reborn, which includes a FOMOD installer. You will need a mod manager, of which Mod Organizer 2 should be the most comfortable choice, as it let you see exactly which files are being replaced, should you choose to mix some other NPC mods in. From the installer's first page, you can choose the skin textures for the type of body you use, be it UNPB or CBBE Then come the characters themselves; you can choose between two version of the main file: one requires Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch, the other one doesn't. On the next page you'll be given the options to install characters from Dawnguard and Dragonborn. You can pick either one, both or none.
In case you pay a visit to the pictures page I should add all of them have been taken with ENB installed, so don't be surprised if your characters don't look the same without it.
