What does this mod do?
Ever tried to cook a feast in Skyrim only to realize there's barely any salt to season your mammoth steak? Tired of scouring every barrel in Whiterun just to find a single pinch? Worry no more! This mod brings more salt to the world of Tamriel—because let's be honest, even dragons deserve a properly seasoned meal. More salt in barrels, on tables, in shops—heck, maybe even a little in your enemies' wounds.
This mod increases the amount of salt available in Skyrim using SkyPatcher, allowing you to choose from different multipliers (2x, 5x, 10x, 12x, 16x or 20x). It works on top of any other mod that adds salt, further boosting availability without conflicts. Whether you're a chef or an alchemist, you'll never run out of salt again!

A Little More Salt - SkyPatcher increases salt availability in Skyrim by adding multipliers (2x, 5x, 10x, 12x, 16x, 20x) to salt sources like barrels, tables, and shops. It uses SkyPatcher to avoid conflicts and works with other salt-adding mods. Ideal for players who cook or craft alchemy and want a steady salt supply.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 245 endorsements and over 12k downloads.
- Flexible multipliers let you dial in exactly how much salt you want.
- Works on top of other salt mods, so you can stack the saltiness.
⚠️ Cons
- Requires SkyPatcher as a dependency, so you need to install that first.
- If you're not into cooking or alchemy, this mod won't change much for you.
- No patches for specific mods listed, so compatibility with other overhauls is on you.
For Skyrim players who love cooking feasts or brewing potions and are tired of hunting for salt. Also great for modders who want a simple, conflict-free way to boost salt availability. Skip if you don't use cooking or alchemy—this is purely a resource tweak.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure SkyPatcher is installed and up to date before adding this mod, or it won't work.
- Start with a lower multiplier like 2x or 5x to see how it feels, then bump it up if you need more.
- If you use other mods that add salt, this mod will boost those too, so you might get more than you expect.
