- I made this mod for my own personal use, but thought I might as well share it with anyone who wants it. This mod adds a perk to the Two Handed skill tree which adds a faster swing speed to all 2 handed weapons (swords, axes, and staves). The skill requirement is only 30 but I never liked how slow and unwieldy 2 handers felt in vanilla anyhow, so it unlocks fairly early. Now all I have to do is wait for a mod that lets you cast magic while holding a 2 handed weapon.
- You can choose between a 30% speed increase, and a 40% speed increase. The 40% is just as fast as a one handed weapon, while the 30% feels like a more appropriate / balanced speed compared to vanilla (but still to slow for me realistically, which is why I use 40 )

📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved (854 endorsements) and widely downloaded (23,914) – clearly a mod people trust.
- Does exactly what it says: makes two-handed weapons swing faster, no bloat.
- Lightweight and easy to install – just drop it in and go.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2012 – might not be compatible with the latest Skyrim versions or DLCs.
- Only adds one perk – if you're looking for a combat overhaul, this isn't it.
- Potential conflicts with other perk overhauls that modify the same perk trees.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Skyrim players who love two-handed weapons but hate the slow swing speed. If you're a melee build that wants a snappier combat feel without a full overhaul, this is for you. Skip if you want deeper combat changes – this is a single, focused perk addition.

💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure to place the mod file in your Skyrim Data folder or use a mod manager like Vortex or Mod Organizer 2.
- If you're using other perk mods, load this one after them to ensure the perk appears correctly.
- Test the perk on a dummy save to see if the swing speed feels right – you can always uninstall if it's too fast.
