The Nine Planes of Oblivion - A Unique Sword Mod

I've always wanted my own standalone sword mod to be proud of. The problem is, I suck at meshing. That's why I stick to textures. The 3D model and base textures featured in this mod are from a modders resource found here. I worked off of the base textures, making them 4K quality, and improving the overall visual quality of the blade.

DESCRIPTION -------------------------------------

Where can I find this wicked blade? You can find it in Sightless Pit, inside the dwemer chest in the Temple of Xrib. You have to kill many falmer and chaurus reapers.

What is the idea behind it? What does the text on the blade say? It's Daedric script, and it says "The Nine Planes of Oblivion Will Consume All", referencing how Tamriel was almost lost during the Oblivion crisis, how the First Dragonborn gets locked in Apocrypha (Miraak) and how the Elder Scroll in Skyrim was the sole reason for Alduin's defeat. It is also a reference how the sword requires souls to be powered. Every time you kill someone with this weapon, if you have a soul gem, it's more likely than not that their soul will recharge the weapon in the future. A filled Black Soul Gem only recharges the weapon partially - you need at least 5 filed Black Soul gems before it's fully recharged.

Once you have the one handed blade, you can now go to a forge and convert it to a greatsword at any time. If you decide that you like the one handed version better, you can convert it back.

FAQ: Q: What is 4K? A: 4K refers to texture size. Default vanilla Skyrim is 512x512 textures. 4K is 4096x4096.

Q: I can has...(insert outrageous demand here)? A: No. I will not be uploading 2K versions. If you want them, downscale them yourself. Nor will I be taking custom orders.

Q: My framerate went down after installing. A: I cannot help you with that. I know that the Unofficial Patches have a huge hit on performance.

Q: Why not make it NMM compatible? A: That is an incredibly unnecessary amount of work for a standalone sword mod. If you are too lazy to manually install a mod, Khajiit has no words for you. Khajiit does not welcome you or your coin. I do not use NMM so it would be irrelevant to learn a skill for something that I will never use.

I do not give any permission to anybody for my work. 4K textures take an incredible  amount of time and effort, and I work too hard to have someone take them and upload them somewhere else as their own.
