FAQ
Q: Why do some textures still have the vanilla style?
A: I decided to keep a few textures untouched, since I am quite satisfied with their vanilla look.
However, I might replace them with HD versions in the future.
Q: What are the hardware requirements to use this mod.
A: You should have at least 4 GB of system memory and 1 GB vram.
Q: How the comparison screenshots were made?
A: The comparison screenshots were taken with the default settings and without any ENB preset. All other screenshots use ENB presets. The Bethesda HighRes DLC was always activated.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 10,355 endorsements and nearly 190k downloads
- Simple texture replacer that enhances dungeon visuals without changing gameplay
- Works with most texture mods as a base for further customization
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2014, so it may not be fully compatible with the latest Skyrim Special Edition or Anniversary Edition without patches
- Only covers dungeons, so you'll need other mods for a complete visual overhaul
For Skyrim players who want to improve dungeon visuals without overhauling the entire game. If you're a texture enthusiast building a mod list, this is a solid base. Skip if you're looking for gameplay changes or if you play on a version newer than the original Skyrim.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're using a mod manager like Vortex or Mod Organizer 2, install this mod and let it overwrite other texture mods for dungeons to ensure it takes effect.
- Check if your Skyrim version is the original (Legendary Edition) or Special Edition; this mod was made for the original, so you may need to convert it for SE.
- Pair this with other 'Beauty of Skyrim' mods from the same author for consistent texture quality across the world.
