Introduction
This mod changes the appearance of all the vanilla children in Skyrim
and its DLCs, drawing inspiration from DreamBurrow's really adorable children!
FeaturesThis mod overhauls all vanilla children NPCs' appearances to fit into the world of Skyrim, somewhere between a modded and a lore-friendly one. It's a script-free mod that gives them different faces and some custom outfits to make them a little more unique, using meshes, textures, and the CK to put them together.
For avid character creators, this mod might serve as a nice base to build your own children from. It uses the female Enhanced Character Edit head for both boys and girls, so you can mashup your own textures while being able to use many sliders to edit heads with (thanks to ECE & RM), and replace the heads with your own.
The child races are also kind of playable (but will never be extensive or complete), and I recommend it only for those who simply want to run around and take screenshots as a child character, though I've seen reports of people playing without issues. YMMV!Updates/Notices

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Massive community trust with 87,621 endorsements and 3 million downloads.
- Gives kids a fresh look that fits Skyrim's aesthetic.
- Lets you fine-tune child faces if you're into ECE.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2017 — may not play nice with newer Skyrim versions or other mods.
- Requires Enhanced Character Edit for the full feature set, which is an extra dependency.
For Skyrim players who want their kids to look better and are okay with a cosmetic overhaul. If you're into character editing and want to tweak child faces, this is a must-have. Skip if you want gameplay changes or if you're on a modlist that already overhauls children.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're using a mod manager, just download and activate — no special load order needed.
- For ECE features, make sure Enhanced Character Edit is installed and loaded before this mod.
- Check if your other child mods conflict — this one changes all children, so compatibility patches might be needed.
