📋 About This Mod

You ever get frustrated trying to see where you're going when in an altered state in Requiem - The Oldschool Roleplaying Overhaul?

This ISM (Image Space Modifier) edit of Requiem gives easier-on-the-eyes altered state visual effects when "Poisons without visual effects" is unchecked in the Requiem MCM, and removes the extreme double-vision effect from:

  • []Drunkenness - As Requiem 3. 0. 0/2. 0.x reduces drunk vision, a mod version option is offered without tweaking drunkenness.

    []Skooma

[]Diseases - Although the later stages of disease have minor double vision.

    []Poisoning

This mod contains no scripts or new resources, so there should be no loss of FPS.

Other Requiem improvement patches I've made or curate:

    Requiem - Alchemy Rebalance

    Requiem Plus Updated USLEEP

    Requiem - Minor Arcana Reborn

    Requiem - Standing Stone Rebalance

Requiem - Food and Drug Rebalance

    Requiem - Immersive Divine Blessings

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

Requiem - Less Double-Vision (R-LDV) is a small visual tweak for Skyrim's Requiem mod that removes the extreme double-vision effect while keeping other visual effects for drunkenness, skooma, diseases, and poisoning. It's for players who find the default effect disorienting but want to keep the rest of the experience.

✨ Key Features

Removes the extreme double-vision effect from Requiem's altered state visuals.
Maintains other visual effects for drunkenness, skooma, diseases, and poisoning.
Simple visual edit, no gameplay changes.
Popular with 571 endorsements and over 185k downloads.

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Community-approved with 571 endorsements and 185k downloads—clearly fills a need.
  • Keeps the other visual effects intact, so you don't lose the immersive feedback.
  • Tiny mod, easy to install and forget about.

⚠️ Cons

  • Last updated in 2018—may not be compatible with newer Requiem versions.
  • Only affects double-vision; if you want to tweak other effects, this won't help.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Skyrim players who use Requiem and find the double-vision effect nauseating or distracting. If you want to keep the other visual cues but ditch the blur, this is for you. Skip if you're fine with the default effect or want more comprehensive visual overhauls.
📦 Install:Easy· Under 1 minute

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Make sure you have Requiem installed first—this mod edits its visuals.
  • Place the file in your Data folder or use a mod manager; load order shouldn't matter much.
  • If you're using a mod manager, enable it after Requiem to ensure it overwrites correctly.
