Welcome to my finished release for a high resolution water texture replacement for Skyrim. The default water looks pretty good in Skyrim, but this small texture mod will make it look borderline realistic. This texture is based on a very high resolution photography image, made into a seamless texture and then converted to DDS for use in skyrim. Default texture size = 512x512 My texture size = 2048x2048 Videos - newest version - fixes some of the problems with the water - much more realistic (also features some unique footage of me jumping off the bridge leading to the college of winterhold!) before after (original texture release) [ youtube ] 0MuI3VNgCSo [ /youtube ] :::INSTALLATION::: Simply extract the folder to your skyrim/data - if prompted to merge or replace files/folders, click yes. :::UNISTALLATION::: Simply delete the defaultwater.dds in skyrim\\data\\textures\\water :::NOTE::: Note: My version has smoother y-axis depth than others, and it has a small rippling effect to simulate water on the surface.
