About this Mod
This mod offers a new HD version of the famous sword Hadhafang from the fantastic LotR movies, based on the fantastic model by Yogensya as well as other colour and material variants of this outstanding beauty of a blade.
It is completely standalone and can be crafted with Elven smithing perk under the Elven category at any forge. Of course it is fully temperable and enchantable, too.
The textures of the main version are quite big, but can be used without problems as all of my various testers have reported. I chose to keep them uncompressed for the best possible texture quality and look. A performance version will be added soon, but I really recommend to use the main uncompressed version.
About the looks of it images can say more than thousand words of mine - especially since I had the honour to be able to get some of the greatest screenarchers on the Nexus as beta testers for my work. The Variants
Hadhafang Reborn is the original version of this sword and well known as Arwen's sword from the fantastic LotR movies by Peter Jackson. It is a very powerful and elegant weapon and has gone unspoiled through the ages of the world as it has been forged in Gondolin in the forgotten 1st age of the world. It has been passed from mother to child and has been wielded both by men and by women through its long and famous history.
On the blade the following inscription in Sindarin can be found :
"aen estar Hadhafang I chatholhen, thand around dan I thang an I arwen"
"This blade is called Hadhafang, a noble defense of a noble lady against a mass of enemies."
The Silver Elven Blade uses the same model as Hadhafang itself, but is crafted with lighter oakwood and metal parts in silver steel. It is an example of a classic Noldorian Elven sword, which is light and deadly - perfect for a swift and agile fighting style, which requires lots of skill and training, but provides unrivalled power when it comes to a duel of blades on the battlefield.
This mod adds a high-definition version of Hadhafang from the Lord of the Rings movies, along with several variants based on the same model.
