WHAT THIS MOD DOES?
This mod disables the glowing edges activated by the use of some spells.
Only the body glowing is removed, no other visual effect is changed.
WHY?
This mod is in the immersion section, which sometimes requires to change how the game works.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community trust — nearly 9,000 endorsements and 191k downloads speak for themselves
- Does exactly what it says: strips the glow without touching other spell visuals
- Tiny mod, no bloat — just a clean tweak for immersion purists
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2013 — may not be compatible with the latest Skyrim Special Edition or Anniversary Edition without patches
- Only affects the player's glow, not NPCs or other effects — might not be enough if you wanted a broader overhaul
For Skyrim players who find the glowing body effect on spellcasters breaking their immersion and want a simple, proven fix. Skip if you're on a newer Skyrim version without compatibility patches, or if you want to alter other spell visuals.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're using Skyrim Special Edition or Anniversary Edition, check if this mod has a port or use a mod manager to handle compatibility.
- Since this mod only removes the player's glow, test it with a spell like Oakflesh to see the effect immediately.
- Load order shouldn't matter much for a simple tweak like this, but placing it near other immersion mods keeps things tidy.
