📋 About This Mod
== No Combat Music == While the combat music behavior is much better in Skyrim than it was in Oblivion I simply don\'t like combat music. This plugin disables combat music completely. Regular music will keep playing during combat so there is no pause or anything like that, combat music will simply never start when combat starts. Note that I\'m not sure what will happen during scripted sequences like the civil war quests where combat music seems to be forced via script. Probably the combat music will still play in this special case. = Installation = Put the esp into your data folder and activate it in the launcher/mod manager/plugins.txt. To remove the mod simply delete the esp. = Changelog = v1. 0 Initial release v1. 1 Hopefully fixed the mod so combat music will never start to play, not even in very dangerous situations v1. 2 Altered some other combat music related game settings so hopefully this time it\'s the real deal (EDIT: And after many hours of testing it is, works flawlessly now)

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 1,390 endorsements and over 82k downloads
- Does exactly what it says—no more jarring combat tracks
- Tiny mod that won't affect performance or conflict with other audio mods
⚠️ Cons
- No updates since 2011—may not be compatible with Special Edition or Anniversary Edition without tweaks
- Only affects combat music; if you wanted different combat tracks, this isn't it
- No config options—it's all or nothing
For Skyrim players who are tired of the same combat music kicking in every time a mudcrab aggroes. If you prefer the ambient soundtrack to keep flowing during fights, this is a must-have. Skip if you want to replace combat music with something new—this only removes it.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're on Skyrim Special Edition, you may need to convert the plugin with the Creation Kit or use a mod manager that handles old plugins.
- Place this mod low in your load order to ensure it overrides any other music mods.
- Test in a random encounter—if combat music still plays, check for conflicts with other audio mods.
