📋 About This Mod
Adds portals connecting Twilight Sepulcher to the Nightingale Hall after the quest Darkness Returns is completed. This also works properly even if you already completed that quest. At the end of Darkness Returns Karliah promises that there will be a portal connecting Nightingale Hall to the Twilight Sepulcher, yet none ever appears in game. This plugin attempts to fix that blunder on the developers\' part by introducing such portal into the game, but only after the aforementioned quest is completed. In Nightingale Hall the portal is located in the same room where you receive Hightingale Armor during Trinity Restored quest. If you haven\'t yet completed Darkness Returns quest, the portal will be inactive with just an empty alcove in the wall (can be seen in one of the screenshots). In Twilight Sepulcher the portal exits into Inner Sanctum, replacing one of the three portals that are already there (the type of the portal is auto-load, in contrast to the other two \'on-activate\' ones). Also Karliah will now stay at Nightingale Hall after the quest Darkness Returns (you have to exit the Inner Sanctum of Twilight Sepulcher first). Additionally, there is a minor fix to the scripts of The Litany of Larceny quest so that when you pick up the 7th item (usually it is the Left Eye of the Falmer), you will still be able to turn it in with Delvin (but this mod must be installed before you pick the last item in order for that to work). There is also a minor fix in Karliah\'s dialogue where three options about Nightingale Agent roles started appearing after the quest Blindsighted. These are now only available after you\'ve returned the Skeleton Key when you have to choose the role.
Adds portals between Twilight Sepulcher and Nightingale Hall after completing the 'Darkness Returns' quest, with retroactive support for players who already finished it. A quality-of-life fix for Thieves Guild members, backed by 1,505 endorsements.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 1,505 endorsements and 26k downloads
- Solves a real annoyance—no more trekking through the cave
- Retroactive support means no need to start a new character
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2012—might have issues with newer Skyrim versions
- No mention of compatibility with other mods that alter those locations
- Only affects two specific locations, so it's a niche fix
For Thieves Guild players who are tired of the long walk between the Sepulcher and the Hall. If you've finished Darkness Returns and want a quick travel option, this is a must-have. Skip if you rarely visit those areas or prefer lore-friendly fast travel alternatives.
