📋 About This Mod
What does this mod do?
This mod makes dirty roads use the landscape dirt texture, letting the area look more natural.
Works very well with: - More Ash on the Road - More Snow on the Road
Introduction:
After I released my More Snow on the Road mod, I received a comment about if I could do the same with dirt roads. I did not think about that before but now that I tryed it, I like it. It looks good!
This mod does not contain a texture replacer, it makes use of the already installed dirt texture. That means your fresh dirt landscape texture from another mod will now also show up on roads! (I left the _n.dds normal map alone to keep the 3D rocks look.)
Video Demonstration: Here is a great Video by NOZI87, demonstrating the concept of the "More Nature on the Road" series. fvLUnDgj-oc Thank you, NOZI87, for this nice video :)
v1. 2
- []Fixed Vanilla bug: RoadStraightLong01FallForestDirt01 had no texture set code assigned to it, making it use the Whiterun area road textures instead of the Fall Forest road textures. Thanks to jessterman21 for the heads up.
- []Excluded Bridges in the Fall Forest and The Reach area from having more dirt on them. (Whiterun area bridges were already excluded.) I don´t think it looked right, as a bridge is farther away from soil and shouldn´t be as dirty. After all... the mod is called more dirt on the ROAD :)
- Fixed Vanilla bug: Road3way01ReachDirt01 had no texture set code assigned to it, making it use the Whiterun area road textures instead of the Reach road textures.
Requirements: Nothing special required to run this mod.
Compatibility: Thanks to Ablaze666 for testing! - This mod should be loaded after Project Parallax or the new texture will not appear. (Same texture set edits.) - Compatible with everything else. (If not, let me know.)
Bugs: None, I guess :)
