📋 About This Mod
ALL THE ITEMS ARE CRAFTABLE AT SKYFORGE! NOW THERE IS PERK REQUIREMENTS FOR EACH BOOK! MPORTANT! RELATED TO THE ARMOR SHOWN ON THE PICTURES! That armor is \"Oblivionwalker Robe\" I am working on. It\'s pretty much completed, but I need to link it to Dawnguard before I can upload it. And I can\'t do this before CK has been updated. (I heard a rumor that the update is going to be released on Monday) I\'ve been modding for some time, but for the first time I created mod which I can publish into workshop. (No stuff used from other authors and so) I thought the idea is pretty nice and original, and I haven\'t seen anything like this on Nexus or in Workshop so I wanted to publish this. This mod is a collection of some of the ideas I got when played Skyrim. Basically this mod adds big books that can be carried on your back, couple of scroll quivers (Big and small), smaller books which are positioned on lower back and slightly tilted, and wearable weapons (just a couple atm) and in future maybe something more unique. ALL THE ITEMS ARE CRAFTABLE AT SKYFORGE! NOW THERE IS PERK REQUIREMENTS FOR EACH BOOK! I AM NOT GOING TO INCLUDE ALL THE RECIPES HERE, GET THE PROPER PERK AND CHECK THEM YOURSELF AT THE FORGE! (To be honest, recipes will just clutter up description, and in my opinion it’s messy enough already) Here\'s the current Equipment: WEARABLE BOOKS, note that requirements are same for big and small book, recipes may vary. Conjuronomicon, REQUIRES ADEPT CONJURATION PERK Fortify conjuration 10%, regenerate magicka 30% faster, conjurations last 20% longer, -30% health and stamina regeneration Great Book of Destruction, REQUIRES EXPERT DESTRUCTION PERK Dagon\'s Wrath, Fortifies destruction spells by 10%, but makes you 10% more vulnerable to magic. Also increases magicka by 30. Book of the Dragonborn, REQUIRED THAT PLAYER HAS UNRELENTING FORCE SHOUT Similiar effect to amulet of Talos. Reduces shout recovery time. Works with amulet for greater effect, however reduces stamina regen rate by 25%. It must be exhausting to shout all the time. Healer\'s Book, REQUIRES PERK APPRENTICE RESTORATION Restoration spells are 15% more effective and health regeneration rate by 35%. No negative effects. Illusion Book, REQUIRES ADEPT ILLUSION PERK Illusion spells are 20% more powerful (Though I am not sure what it means. Spells affect higher level enemies? Maybe.) Fortify magicka rate 30%, No negative effects. (30% ain’t huge at later levels, and I have no idea if 20% better illusion spells actually affect at all.) Alteration Book, REQUIRES ADEPT ALTERATION Fortifies armor rating by 45 (Enchantment, works with mage armors), Alteration spells last 15% longer, health regeneration reduced by 35% Wearable Elder Scroll REQUIRES THAT THE PLAYER HAS “DRAGONREND- SHOUT” Increases magicka by 50, Armor rating by 50, Magicka rate 25% and reduces HP regeneration by 50%, Couldn’t think of anything more unique for this one. Big and

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 680 endorsements and 16k downloads—clearly a popular pick for mage roleplayers.
- Gives your mage a scholarly look without needing to actually carry the books—pure fashion.
- Lightweight mod that doesn't touch gameplay mechanics, so it's safe to add to any load order.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2012—might have compatibility issues with newer Skyrim versions or mods that alter the body slot.
- No screenshots or detailed install instructions in the description, so you're flying blind until you test it.
- Only adds four items—if you wanted more variety like different book types or colors, this won't deliver.
For Skyrim players who want their mage character to look the part with books and scrolls strapped to their gear. Perfect for roleplayers who love immersive details. Skip if you're looking for gameplay changes—this is purely cosmetic.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a clothing mod, make sure you have the body mesh compatible with your character—check if it uses vanilla or custom body types.
- If you use a mod manager like Vortex or MO2, install it manually or via manager and place it low in your load order to avoid conflicts with other clothing mods.
- Test it on a save you don't mind messing up—if the items don't appear, check that the mod is activated and the files are in the right folder.
