Description
Update 1. 1: Updated to include typographical fixes by KindredBrujah.
Adds 160+ new loading screens steeped in Tamrielic lore. Become deeper immersed in the Elder Scrolls mythos with tons of quotes from in-game books (from Skyrim and past Elder Scrolls titles), history, mythology, and little-known facts about the world of Tamriel.
These loading screen texts were carefully selected from the brightest minds in the Elder Scrolls lore community. They have been cautiously edited and verified to ensure the highest quality possible. These loading screens were all submitted by members of the Bethesda Forums Elder Scrolls Lore forum, and reddit.com/r/teslore community members. Without you, this mod would not be possible. You have my gratitude.
Installation
Just enable Chesko_LoreBasedLoadingScreens.esp, or activate within your respective mod manager.
Known Issues
Troubleshooting
If you don't immediately see the new loading screens when entering and exiting areas, be patient; there are a lot of default loading screens in Skyrim, some of which are biased to occur depending on where you are. Almost all of the new loading screens are conditionless, meaning they should have a chance of occurring anywhere.
Compatibility
Compatible with everything. Seriously! No existing loading screens were edited or altered in any way.
