📋 About This Mod
LC_ Immersive chainmail ( my apologies by my english)
This mod adds chainmail for all types of metal alloys in the game, I never liked some models helm that looked like a Power Ranger, like ebony and Dwemer so I created an option to Chainmail, they can be manufactured in their respective materials and with appropriate perks, all can be improved and are balanced to avoid disturbing the balance of the game, having the same defense helm of each armor, it does not replace any model helm. Simply gives you the option of choice.
supports all races less Khajiit, I try adapt in a future update.

My others Mods
This mod replaces the helmet models for ebony and Dwemer armor with chainmail variants, addressing the author's dislike for the original 'Power Ranger' look. It adds craftable chainmail options for all metal alloys in the game. With 538 endorsements and over 6,000 downloads, it's a niche cosmetic overhaul for Skyrim players seeking a more grounded aesthetic.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 538 endorsements and 6,080 downloads.
- Fixes a common aesthetic gripe—those goofy ebony and Dwemer helmets.
- Craftable chainmail adds a new layer of customization for armor enthusiasts.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2013—may not be compatible with the latest Skyrim versions or DLC.
- Only affects helmets, not the full armor set, so the visual change is limited.
For Skyrim players who want a more realistic, grounded look for heavy armor without the flashy helmet designs. If you're tired of the 'Power Ranger' ebony and Dwemer helms, this is a quick fix. Skip if you prefer the original fantasy aesthetic or want broader armor overhauls.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since the mod is from 2013, check if you're using the Special Edition or Legendary Edition—it may need manual tweaking for newer versions.
- Use a mod manager like Vortex or Mod Organizer 2 to keep track of the files and easily disable if issues arise.
- Make sure to load this mod after other armor mods to ensure the chainmail textures overwrite correctly.
