📋 About This Mod

✅ -Scroll Scribe workstation added for creating scrolls
✅ --Staff enchanter added alongside
✅ --Unenchanted staves and heartstones will now be sold by Farengar
✅ --88 craftable scrolls, 24 of which are custom-made based on existing spells
✅ --Instruction book for making scrolls included at scroll scribe station
✅ --Mini-bookshelf in station for 5 books

This mod makes scrolls fully craftable in-game, as well as placing a staff enchanter and scroll scribe in Whiterun's Dragonsreach. While there is at least one other mod to create scrolls, this one is a simple system that does not tie in to any existing skills or perk trees, and is designed to make scroll crating a secondary option alongside making it easier to create staves. As it is my first fully finished mod, I welcome suggestions and feedback.

NOTES: I am still planning an update that adds the scroll station to other major cities.

UPDATE 11/17/2016: Cleaned mod, and reuploaded to fix missing texture on the scroll tabletop.

Adds craftable scrolls for most spells via a new crafting station, plus staff enchanting outside of Solstheim. A niche crafting expansion for Skyrim players who want more control over magical items, with modest community support (113 endorsements).

✨ Key Features

Adds a crafting station for creating scrolls for most spells in the game.
Enables staff enchanting outside of Solstheim.
Integrates with the base game's crafting system.

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Fills a gap for mage characters who want to craft their own scrolls without relying on loot.
  • Staff enchanting outside Solstheim is a convenience for players who don't want to travel.
  • Decent community traction with 113 endorsements and over 1,400 downloads.

⚠️ Cons

  • Last updated in 2016, so it may have compatibility issues with current Skyrim versions or DLC.
  • Requires a new crafting station, which might clutter your crafting area or need placement.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Skyrim players who enjoy crafting and want to expand their magical options, especially mage builds that rely on scrolls. Also for those who find traveling to Solstheim for staff enchanting tedious. Skip if you prefer combat or quest mods over crafting additions.

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Since the mod adds a crafting station, look for it near other crafting stations in major cities like Whiterun or Solitude.
  • Check if the mod requires the Dragonborn DLC for staff enchanting, as that feature is tied to Solstheim.
  • If you use a mod manager, consider using one to easily uninstall if you encounter issues.
