Enemy Forsworn Briarhearts will now have about a 50% chance to be women! Briarhearts are randomized
when they spawn in the game, pulled from leveled lists. This mod doesn't add new NPC's to the leveled
lists, it overwrites NPC's that were in there to begin with. They have a chance to spawn at any level.
You can loot the briar heart right out of their ribcage, just like with the guys!
Standard version requires XPMS, or your game will crash. Non-HDT mesh patch is available.
The female Briarheart follower can be found in the hills West of Karthwasten.
Here's the little RP back story I came up with for her:
Mariel was a gifted young Forsworn Shaman who began to chafe at her people's extreme politics. For the crime
of questioning the cause, she was forced to undergo the horrific ritual that turned a living person into a Briarheart.
By some miracle she escaped with her free will intact, and fled into the wilderness. Now, teetering on the edge of
life and death but possessing incredible powers, she owes allegiance to no cause and seeks her fortune in the wider
world. Feared and shunned by most, she would welcome the chance to travel with another brave adventurer!
She is your basic vanilla-style follower; levels with the player, mage combat style, "sultry" voice type.
- New meshes and textures are based on CBBE slim resources
- Compatible with other body mods because the NPCs' bodies are fully replaced by the new Briarheart body.
Custom meshes by me, based on CBBE Slim resources.
New meshes were created with the invaluable help of Outfit Studio and Nifskope.
New textures were made using GIMP.
New Forsworn armor textures derived from Bethesda's HD textures,
with the exception of Colorful Forsworn Headdress which was made by chocolambot, used by permission.
I made the unique Briarheart skin textures from a blend of:
SG Female Textures Renewal by Hello Santa and Fair Skin Complexion by HHaleyy, both used by permission.
Mariel's eye texture courtesy of The Eyes of Beauty by Gabriel Mailhot, used by permission.

This mod replaces about half of the Forsworn Briarhearts in Skyrim with female versions, using a custom body mesh and texture. It also adds a female Briarheart follower. With over 1,000 endorsements, it's a popular choice for players wanting more variety in enemy types.
