WHAT THIS MOD DOES:

BRETONNIA overhauls all 20 Male & Female Breton presets (ie: the 10 different faces you see when you cycle through the "Presets" slider during character creation or while using "showracemenu"). It comprises a simple .esp plugin containing all the needed information to make the presets shown above.

Treat these bright new Breton faces as being something of a fresh canvas for your new Breton characters, if you will. All the heavy lifting has been done for you - just add your favourite combination of tints & hair & you're ready to go adventuring! There's no hard & fast rules - feel free to tweak & alter your new characters as much & as often as you like, or head straight into the game with one of these new presets right off the shelf! It's up to you! Be sure to add pics of your new creations to the image section here! :)

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO:

This mod does do not alter your existing skin texture mods, or apply other authors' mods to your game. There are no "required" mods for these presets (for example, hair). The appearance of your new BRETONNIA presets will vary greatly depending on what face textures, skins, tintmasks, lighting, etc. you are using. Before you ask 'but why?' (or maybe 'but whhhhhyyyyyy?'), this is because not only do people use different combinations of mesh and texture mods which apply colour gradients in markedly different ways, they play with different settings on different machines, meaning that what's fine-tuned for use on my rig may look completely different on yours.

Thus, these new Breton presets are not set to apply makeup tints etc., warpaint, scars, etc. - that's for you to go wild on! :)

Q: Can I use this with Enhanced Character Edit, or the new RaceMenu?

A: Of course! Just place my presets .esps BELOW any ECE or RaceMenu plugins in your NMM load order!
