Undo Move MO2 Plugin

Do you not religiously make backups of your mod and plugin lists and do the following: Have you ever accidentally dragged a mod or group of mods in your mod list and dropped it/them somewhere? Grabbed a separator by accident and don't know where it was? Moved a few plugins around and realized it was a mistake?

Undo Move adds buttons above the mod and plugin lists and four shortcuts that allow for undoing and redoing mod(s), separator, and plugin(s) priority changes.

The default shortcuts are:

Undo Modlist Change: Ctrl + Alt + Z

Redo Modlist Change: Ctrl + Alt + Shift + Z

Undo Plugin List Change: Ctrl + Alt + X

Redo Plugin List Change: Ctrl + Alt + Shift + X

These can be changed by clicking the UndoMove option in the tools dropdown and setting the shortcuts there.

There is a setting in the shortcut manager "Immediate Refresh", if a mod's priority crosses a separator via UndoMove, MO2 must refresh for the mod to visually go to the correct location. Normally a 1. 5 second delay will pass before MO2 is refreshed and the delay is reset every time an UndoMove action is performed so that multiple actions can be performed at once. The setting is there to remove the delay if you do not like it.

Requires Mod Organizer version 2. 5. 0+ (as of 0. 3. 2 it should work on some older versions such as 2. 44)

Installation

Make sure to make backups of both your mod and plugin lists.

Extract UndoMove.py and UndoMove Icons folder into your MO2/plugins/  folder. Restart MO2 if running.

Uninstall

Delete UndoMove.py and UndoMove Icons folder from your MO2/plugins/  folder. Restart MO2 if running.

Known Issue(s):

MO2's plugin API mobase. IModList.onModMoved() does not activate for when only a single mod is moved via the context menu's 'Send to...' option and thus doing so will break the stored history for that mod as it will not be in the expected location.
