This is a Vortex extension, not a Civilization VII gameplay mod.

Overview

Adds Steam Civilization VII discovery, launch support, Nexus-domain integration, and safe .modinfo deployment to Vortex. After installing this extension, use Mod Manager Download on compatible Civilization VII Nexus mod pages and let Vortex install and deploy them.

    Installation

    Until Nexus/Vortex review adds this extension to Vortex's extension manifest, use Manual Download. Mod Manager Download cannot identify an unreviewed site-domain file as a game extension.

      Do not install this ZIP from Vortex's Civilization VII Mods page and do not extract it into the Civilization VII directory. This ZIP belongs in Vortex's Extensions system, never in the game's Mods folder.

      Minimal and readable package

      Version 0. 1. 1 is one Nexus download containing exactly the three official Vortex extension files: index.js, info.json, and gameart.png. The JavaScript is readable, dependency-free corresponding source and contains the complete GPL-3. 0 license text. There is no executable, generated/minified dependency bundle, source map, installer script, nested archive, or separate Source Files download.

        Important conflict note

        Nexus site mod 1182 is a separately authored Civilization VII Vortex extension. Both extensions register the same game ID, so disable or remove the other extension before enabling this one.
