Monster Hunter Wilds - Mod Organizer 2 Plugin

Adds basic game support and improves mod installation for Monster Hunter: Wilds, including support for standard mod layouts such as .pak files, natives folders, and reframework folders, as well as multi-option archives made for Fluffy Mod Manager. Additionally, .pak files can be loaded through REFramework's pak_mods folder, and the basic game support plugin includes an optional safe rename feature that can rename .pak files on launch if needed.

What This Version Adds

This version is based on the existing basic game support plugin and Fluffy installer plugin, but they did not fully cover what I needed, so I made my own version to expand the supported install behavior.

Enhancements from the existing basic game support plugin:

• []Added support for standard Monster Hunter: Wilds mod layouts such as .pak files, natives folders, and reframework folders.

  []Added automatic cleanup for unnecessary files like modinfo.ini and preview images during simple installs.

  []Added support for loading .pak files through REFramework's pak_mods folder.

  []Added an optional safe rename feature in the basic game support plugin that can rename .pak files on launch if desired.

  Enhancements from the existing Fluffy Mods support plugin:

  • []Changed the installer so it only handles complex archives with multiple selectable options, while simple mods now use MO2's normal installer flow through the game plugin.

    []Added mod name selection directly in the installer window before installation completes.

    Installation

    Drop the plugins folder into MO2's root directory, where ModOrganizer.exe is located.

    If the Fluffy installer plugin was already installed, delete MhwsInstaller.py from your plugins folder.
