MERGE-O-MATIC INI

Merge-O-Matic INI is a lightning-fast, standalone Windows desktop utility

designed to easily apply tweak files to a primary INI configuration file.

While this tool is incredibly useful for modding games like Fallout 76, Skyrim, Fallout 4, or Starfield,

it is completely game-agnostic. It will work flawlessly with ANY standard INI or engine configuration file

that uses the standard "" and "Key=Value" formatting!

Originally prototyped in PowerShell, this application has been completely

rewritten from the ground up in Rust. It utilizes the 'egui' framework to

deliver a snappy, native graphical interface packaged into a single, highly

optimized executable.

1. Drop the Main INI:

Drag and drop the primary (base) .ini file you want to modify directly

into the application window.

2. Drop Tweak INIs:

Drag and drop one or more tweak .ini files into the bottom list box.

duplicate tweaks from the files above them.

3. Choose Save Mode:

- "Create New _Merged File": Leaves your original main file untouched and

creates a brand new file (e.g., filename_Merged.ini) in the same folder.

- "Overwrite Original (Backup)": Safely backs up your original file with a

.bak extension, then overwrites the original file with the merged data.

Click "Merge Files". The tool will parse the files, update all sections

and properties, and save the result instantly.
