What is Jackify?

Jackify is a Linux application designed specifically for the Linux gaming community. It automates the entire process of installing, configuring, and managing Wabbajack modlists on Linux systems and Steam Deck, eliminating the need for complex manual setup scripts and configuration guides. Jackify is the next evolution of the now-legacy omni-guides written guides and bash scripts for setting up Wabbajack via proton, and automating the post-install requirements.

      Installation Guide

      • []Download the Jackify 7z archive from the Files tab[/]

        []Extract the Jackify. AppImage file from the 7z archive[/]

        []Make it executable:

        chmod +x Jackify. AppImage[/]

        []Run the application:

        ./Jackify. AppImage(or

        ./Jackify. AppImage --clifor the CLI)[/]

        []Follow the setup wizard to input your modlist, directories etc[/]

        []Start installing modlists![/]

        Using Jackify

        GUI Mode (Recommended):

        • []Launch Jackify and select "Modlist Tasks" -> "Install a Modlist"[/]

          []Choose your game type and browse available modlists, or supply your own .wabbajack file[/]

          []Set installation and download directories[/]

          []Enter your Nexus API key and select preferences[/]

          []Click "Install" and let Jackify handle the rest[/]

          CLI Mode:

          • []Launch with:

            ./Jackify. AppImage --cli[/]

            []Navigate using the numbered menu options[/]

            []All features available through text menus[/]

            Existing Modlists on Linux

            If you already have a modlist downloaded and just need it configured to run on Linux:

            • []Use "Configure New Modlist" in Jackify[/]

              []Point to ModOrganizer.exe in your existing modlsit installation directory[/]

              []Click Start Configuration[/]

              OR if you wish to (re)configure an existing modlist already in Steam:

              • []Use "Configure Existing Modlist" in Jackify[/]

                []Select your existing modlist from the dropdown[/]

                []Click Start Configuration[/]
