📥 Installation

• []Download the IconReplacer. 7z archive.

  []Extract it to any folder (e.g., C:\Program Files\IconReplacer or your desktop).

  []Run IconReplacer.exe.

🖼️ First Run

• []The program will automatically create Icons and Output folders next to itself.

  []Place your .ico or .png files into the Icons folder.

  []Click "Select EXE file" and choose the target program.

  []Click on an icon in the list – a preview will appear.

  []Click "Save EXE with new icon" – the resulting file will be placed in the Output folder with a _icon.exe suffix.

❓ TroubleshootingProgram won't start – runtime error

Install the . NET 8 Desktop Runtime from the link above.

Icon does not update in File Explorer

Restart Explorer (via Task Manager) or rename the resulting EXE file.

Antivirus blocks the program

Add IconReplacer.exe to your antivirus exceptions – the program modifies EXE files, which can trigger false positives.

Do not try to overwrite the original EXE – the program will warn you and cancel the operation.
