📋 About This Mod
This mod compresses game video cutscenes, which in uncompressed form take up 3,48 gigabytes. Thanks to this mod, the movies folder will be compressed 5 times smaller to 787 megabytes.
This mod is created for saving disk space, primarily for those who play on small SSDs or HDDs, steam deck or other portable consoles. In general, where every gigabyte is important. I didn't change the video file resolution or fps. Everything remained in it's original form. Only the lowest possible bitrate was used to maintain good video quality.
The visual flaws is noticeable in ufo pre-ending video. If you prefer max quality, then refuse to download this mod. I made this for myself and decided to share it with those who are not satisfied with a huge bloated videos.
Installation:
Backup Movies folder in SHf/Content/Movies, in case you decide to revert back.
Unzip Silent Hill f Recoded Movies.zip to the root game folder, with overwrite.
