Attribute Rebalance Mod

This mod is injected through a lightweight Mod Controller setup, using the mod-loading structure made possible by Troopermaniac for the unofficial SCUM editor.

It can be added without a server wipe or new character, it will work as soon as it is added without further setup needed.

What this mod changes

Attribute Rebalance Mod adjusts the core progression values for Strength, Constitution, protein-related muscle/strength loss, and Dexterity gain from fat loss.

Current rebalance values:

• []Strength overall gain: x10[/]

  []Strength gain from muscle activation: x2[/]

  []Effective Strength gain when muscles are highly activated: up to x20 overall[/]

  []Strength stamina/action activation gain: x10 through the global Strength progression multiplier[/]

  []Constitution gain: x10[/]

  []Muscle/Strength loss from missing protein: divided by 10[/]

  []Dexterity gain from fat loss: x10[/]

The goal is not to turn attributes into instant cheat stats, but to reduce the extreme grind of vanilla progression while still keeping the original logic meaningful.

You still need to perform the relevant actions, activate muscles, spend stamina, manage nutrition, and lose fat to gain the related benefits. The mod simply makes those systems progress at a more reasonable pace.

Compatibility

Attribute Rebalance Mod is designed as a clean controller-driven mod and should be compatible with most other mods.

However, because this mod directly sets/rebalances specific attribute progression values, it will supersede other mods that attempt to overwrite the same values.

In practical terms:

• []Mods that do not touch attribute progression should be compatible.[/]

  []Mods that also change Strength, Constitution, Dexterity fat-loss gain, or protein-related muscle/strength loss may conflict.[/]

  []If another mod changes the same values, Attribute Rebalance Mod’s values are intended to take priority.[/]

Important: Add the following launch parameters:

-fileopenlog -nobattleyeThese can be added through Steam launch options, your executable shortcut target or your server batch file.

Before installing, make sure you delete any old version of this mod if one already exists.

Single Player / Local Game:

Place the mod folder into your game’s Pak folder.

Typical location:

SCUM/Content/Paks/Example final location:

SCUM/Content/Paks/Mods/ThisMod.pak

If you plan on playing on multiplayer servers that do not require mods, make sure to remove this mod file and remove the launch parameters before joining those servers.

Dedicated Servers:

Place the mod file/folder into the server’s Pak folder.

Typical location:

SCUM/Content/Paks/Example final location:

SCUM/Content/Paks/Mods/ThisMod.pak

For server usage, this mod is not required to be installed by the player.

Important Multiplayer Note

Because this setup uses:

-nobattleyedo not try to join normal BattlEye-protected servers with this launch configuration unless the server explicitly supports this modded setup.
