📋 About This Mod
Have you wondered what if the enemies actually avoided walls instead of constantly faceplanting? This mod gives spiders the ability to navigate obstacles
This minor mod aims to make spiders feel less like single celled organism by altering their behaviors (in case they wasnt as much of a problem already)
Main feature
Spider enemies avoid walls when attacking (burrowing enemies attempt much less,TBE keep mostly old behavior)
(fleeing behavior is also affected by this)
60% sight range increase for non burrowing enemies
Compatibility:
KrokMP : due to the way MP works if the host has the mod then it is replicated to everyone (hopefully correctly), do nothing if not the host
Compatible with mods that modify spider stats (ex: CreatureKit)
Performance:
Almost no difference (physic simulation is the main bottleneck)
Installation instructions :
Just put the installed dll file into the Plugin folder inside the main BepInEx folder (Requires BepInEx to be installed)
Other minor changes:
-enemies will consider position of all players when retreating
-retreating non-digging spiders will stalk the player (why? its funny)
-fleeing spiders heal very very slowly
-Player corpse will be ignored after a while
-The closest limb/player will now be prioritized (the base game doesnt do that)
-TBE check: Burrowing enemies with burrowing damage >= 100 will not avoid walls
