Performant Rendering

This is meant as a demo for Moffee for quality settings in the game. Feel free to try it out!

Usage: 

- In the 'Video' settings, enable it via the dropdown.

Notes:

- This does not normally affect Collision2D, meaning collision/liquid based lag sources will not be mitigated.

- Note, there is a secondary option that further increases your fps, at the cost of a minor bit of gameplay impact (liquid/item simulation smoothless loss)

- Client-sided. This will not affect clients if you are the host in multiplayer. Similarly, you can run this mod without risk of breaking anything else

- Very, very small. This is a super basic implementation for quality settings, separate from the other quality settings :)

- Now supports simplified Chinese and Russian!

For most FPS gain, standard practice such as disabling bloom, lowering resolution, disabling film grain, etc... may potentially provide you with better results.

What should I expect to gain from this mod?

Original FPS

Balanced (70%)

Performance (55%)

Ultra Performance (40%)

Turning on tile/fluid optimization can increase this by about 20% across the board on average, but is heavily dependent on the amount of rendered fluids and items (e.g +6-10 fps -> +7-12 fps)

Note: These are extremely rough figures, aggregated via average FPS values from:

- My own testing, with BepInEx's profiler

- Aggregated data from game playtests with ^

- User reports and testing from the Discord

- Educated guesswork from extensive testing with the game's renderer system
