LateJoinFix Patch

LateJoinFix seems bugging with new people joining, so I decided to make a plugin to coop and fix it.

Installation instructions

Create new singplayer map.

(It should work with MP, just make sure it's singleplayer)

Spawn your loadout, then save the game.

(It also save player state, so be mindful if you have moodles. You can make people bleed the fuck out if you want)

Go to AppData\LocalLow\Orsoniks\CasualtiesUnknown, copy save.sv

(Any other save.sv work too if you have one)

Put save.sv to: LJFPatch/starter_loadout/ .

(Just create the folder and put the save.sv in if there wasn't one, because that would mean I fucked up something in my files again.)

Main features

Fix LateJoinFix giving new player existing loadout, this plugin give new player a pre-set loadout instead.

I messed up kinda, and it sucks for the couple last version. I think it should work on a more stable version now.

This DOES NOT work in layer 1, as layer 1 will overwrite everything.

(Maybe for some reason the game register new player as a pre-exist player instead of a new empty player so that player can have a flashlight, which is the way I like so I couldn't bother more because I don't want people at layer 1 to already come with a handful loadout. This plugin only overwrite player that actually empty handed come here)

This mod is not yet perfectly working fully on long game session. At some point it will be broken again.

PS

I create this with AI and playtesting, everything is expected to be sketchy.

I'm not a modder, there will be bugs and I do want a feedback if it's broken.
