Bren's Makeshift Guns

Description

Adds a handful of firearms to Casualties Unknown. Compatible with most other firearm mods too.

Installation instructions

Make sure to download/install BepInEx, RshLib, and New Gun Loader if you haven't already.

New Gun Loader mod

Follow the instructions provided by the previously mentioned mods too.

Once that is done, either copy-paste or drag the contents in MakeshiftGunsMod>NewGun to BepInEx>plugins>NewGun using "Browse local files" on Steam (or by finding Casualties Unknown's game files yourself).

If that doesn't work, try again and/or check another gun mod for better instructions.

Main features

Adds five improvised-looking or otherwise old-fashioned weapons to C:U that can be found in the console (and MAYBE in normal gameplay, I haven't checked):

Makeshift Semi Automatic Rifle - A semi automatic rifle loaded with up to 12 individual 9mm rounds.

Makeshift Pistol - A semi-automatic pistol loaded with up to 7 individual 9mm rounds.

Makeshift Shotgun - A double-barrel shotgun loaded with 12 gauge.

Makeshift SMG - A simplistic SMG that uses 9mm pistol magazines. Features a decent firerate and a magazine capacity of 20.

Makeshift Bolt Action - A bolt-action rifle that can be loaded with up to 4 individual 5. 56mm rounds.

Requirements

Requires BepInEx, RshLib, and New Gun Loader to function.

Known Issues

- (MP ONLY) These guns do not appear for clients who do not have the mod. Despite this, they still get damaged by most of the weapons (see above for exception).

- They're uncraftable. Use the console if you want to play around with them, or gamble by looking for traders.
