Storage Hub

All the chests of your base in one window.

Description

Press F7 and you get one big "chest" with everything from all your storage chests nearby - plus your own inventory right next to it. Search, take exactly the amount you need, store things back, or let the hub sort your whole storage.

Only player-built chests count - loot chests, dungeon chests or enemy drops are never included.

Installation instructions

  []Start the game and press F7[/]

The included enabled.txt switches the mod on - no need to edit mods.txt.

Uninstall: delete the StorageHub folder.

Main features

• []One big chest - every item from every chest in range, stacked together, with item icons and totals[/]

  []Search - type "copper", "oak log", "bar" ... and the grid filters instantly[/]

  []Take any amount - pick the amount with the slider, TAKE (uses the game's own split, so stacks merge in your inventory)[/]

  []Store - STORE puts an item into the chest that already holds the most of it[/]

  []Store all - one click brings everything from your main inventory to the chests where those items already are[/]

  []Sort - merges identical items across all your storage chests (fills partial stacks first). Crafting stations are never touched[/]

  []Favorites - pin items so they always stay on top[/]

  []Inventory sections - quick access, inventory, runes, ammunition and quest items shown separately[/]

  []Multiplayer safe - every move is checked right before it is sent; if someone else changed that chest in the meantime, the step is skipped. Only you need the mod - the server needs nothing, and the game's own server functions are used, so nothing can be duplicated or lost[/]

  []Ignore chests - name a chest Ignore and the hub leaves it alone[/]

  []Optional anchor chest - set AnchorName in config.txt and the hub only works near that chest[/]

Requirements

Tested on Xbox Game Pass (singleplayer and a Linux dedicated server). Steam should work the same, but is not tested yet - feedback welcome.

Moving items on a dedicated server always takes a moment - the server confirms every move.

Item icons come from Storage Hub's own icon table, generated straight from the game files (tools\generate_icons.py is included).
