📋 About This Mod
Title OG Voice - RE4 & BH4
Another mod I made for the demo.
This one adds the original game announcer voice to the title.
The "Resident Evil 4" and "Biohazard 4" are both included.
(Install only one file at a time).
I don't own a copy of the full game, and don't plan to for the moment (unless someone buys me a copy :D).
It seems to be working on a full game.
You can find the guide I made for modding RE games audio here:

And if you want to find where the dialogues are stored in files, that's here:

This audio mod replaces the title screen announcer voice in Resident Evil 4 with the original game's voice, covering both 'Resident Evil 4' and 'Biohazard 4' versions. It's a small, focused cosmetic change for fans who miss the classic announcement. With 289 endorsements and 8,407 downloads, it's a niche but appreciated addition.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Nostalgic touch for fans of the original voice (289 endorsements).
- Covers both English and Japanese title variants.
- Lightweight audio mod that doesn't affect performance.
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects the title screen, so the impact is minimal.
- May conflict with other audio mods that alter the title sequence.
- Compatibility with future game updates is uncertain.
For Resident Evil 4 players who want the classic title voice back for nostalgia. Skip if you're looking for gameplay changes or broader audio overhauls—this is purely cosmetic.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Place the files in the game's installation folder, typically under 'nativePC' or 'root' depending on your version.
- If you're using a mod manager, enable the mod and check the title screen to confirm the voice change.
- Back up the original files if you want to revert easily.
