📋 About This Mod
The intro cutscene in RE4 Remake is pre-rendered. This mod edits the cutscene to remove Leon so the scene won't clash with alternate or modded outfits.
The intro cutscene in RE4 Remake is pre-rendered. The end of the cutscene shows Leon in his default outfit looking out the window of the police car. Since this shot of Leon is pre-rendered, alternate and modded outfits will not show up unlike the rest of the game where cutscenes featuring Leon are rendered in engine.
Removing Leon's appearance from this cutscene avoids continuity issues for players using alternate or modded oufits.
Keep in mind that in removing Leon, the cutscene also removes the flashbacks of Marvin, Kendo and Ada from the intro. You can view the cutscene without audio here: https://youtu.be/BMWt4f5N_vk. Note that the original audio is still present in game and is not altered. Also note that this mod replaces the standard and 4k versions of the intro cutscene.
Install with Fluffy Manager. Drag the .zip file into Fluffy manager or the RE4R mods folder.
