RE4R Character Replacer Generator

Description

RE4R Character Replacer Generator is a local Windows utility for creating Resident Evil 4 (2023) character-replacement mods from your own rigged models.

This download is the generator tool itself—not a character skin mod. It contains no character models, extracted game assets, or prebuilt replacement mods.

Installation instructions

1. Download and fully extract the ZIP. Do not run it from inside the archive.

2. Install Blender 4. 2 or newer.

3. Run RE4RCharacterReplacer.exe.

4. Select blender.exe and your Resident Evil 4 game directory if they are not detected automatically.

5. Click Start Generator.

6. Scan the game files, choose a target character and select your own rigged model.

7. Review the pose preview and build the replacement mod.

8. Install the generated ZIP using Fluffy Mod Manager.

Requirements

• Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit.

• A legally installed Steam copy of Resident Evil 4 (2023).

• Blender 4. 2 or newer. Blender 5. 2 LTS is currently used for development testing.

• Fluffy Mod Manager.

• A rigged source model that you have permission to use and redistribute.

Preview status

Leon and Ashley have full application-path and synthetic-pose regression coverage. Ada, Luis, Wesker and Merchant remain experimental.

Automated validation cannot guarantee that every cutscene, facial animation, cloth chain, physics chain, outfit slot or shader will work correctly. Always test generated mods in game before publishing them.
