Quick Grenade

What it does

Resident Evil 4 (2023) lets you assign grenades to the shortcut wheel, but cycling through it mid-fight still costs precious time.

Quick Grenade adds dedicated hotkeys that instantly equip a specific grenade while the key is held.

• [] Hold a key → instantly switch to that grenade [/]

  [] Aim (right-click) and throw (left-click) exactly like normal [/]

  [] Release the key → automatically switch back to whatever you had equipped before[/]

  No more fumbling through the item wheel while a Ganado is swinging a pitchfork at your face.

  Features

  • [] Three default hotkeys: G (Hand Grenade), F (Flash Grenade), E (Heavy Grenade) — fully rebindable[/]

    [] Automatically returns to your previous weapon when you release the key[/]

    [] Optional Require Brief Hold setting for each grenade, useful if a hotkey overlaps with another keybind. Only the Flash Grenade has this enabled by default.[/]

    [] Works with any playable character, including Mercenaries characters such as Leon, Ada, Krauser, and HUNK[/]

    [] Lightweight — no combat logic is modified; the mod only changes which item you're currently holding [/]

    Setup

    Each grenade type must be assigned to a shortcut slot via the pause menu:

    Inventory → Register Shortcut

    Quick Grenade uses the grenades assigned to those shortcut slots.
