Parry Counter

Hello there.

I'm a huuuuge parry enjoyer in games. doing challenges runs where i parry only and stuff like that.

I really enjoyed RE4's parry mechanic and always wondered how many parries i actually did i this chapter, or that chapter. Thats what i liked in Expedition 33 so much. where it showed you your successful parries.

This is why i created this simple lua script for REframework.

All you have to do is download the .lua and place it in your reframework autorun folder.

Features:

- Counter that goes up after every parry.

- Session timer

- Settings to adjust placement and color of the counter

Update 1. 1:

- Updated the Parry Counter to only be visible when you counter

- fades away after a certain time

- added settings to adjust how long the counter stays on

Install: 

Place parry_counter.lua in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RESIDENT EVIL 4  BIOHAZARD RE4\reframework\autorun

go to Script Generated UI and you should find Parry Counter in there. Simply click on it to adjust the counter to your liking. It counts up whenever you successfully land a counter on an enemy.

Small disclaimer:

It may be possible that Parry Counter appears twice in your Script Generated UI, Don't worry about the lower one.
