This mod replaces the sound of a head exploding on a headshot and the sound of Las Plagas bursting out of the head with the sound of a zombie’s head exploding in REGC.

There are two versions: one that plays only the REGC head explosion sound, and another that blends the RE4 sound into the reverb.

Personally, I recommend the version that blends in the RE4 sound.

My original intention was to change only the sound for headshots, but the sound used when Las Plagas burst out of the head was the same.

Whilst it doesn’t sound too out of place, please be aware in advance that this is not a modification limited solely to the headshot sound.

I played through the entire game using this mod and, personally, found the sound effects very satisfying.

If my memory serves me correctly, I believe this sound was edited from the sound of crushing cabbage. How curious, isn’t it?
