Final Improved Visuals

This preset is the final version of my previous work, Improved Visuals and Colors. In this iteration, I’ve focused on creating an even more refined and lightweight experience. Effects like Lightroom help enhance warm tones and their saturation while reducing the intensity of cool colors, adding a distinct atmosphere to the game. For example, the castle areas feel warmer and cozier, while the village exudes a sense of cold and unease.

The preset includes a lightweight fake HDR to improve overall visuals, Delc Sharpen for enhanced texture sharpness, and a few other effects that work harmoniously together. While cool tones have been toned down, I’ve also added a subtle blue tint to counteract excessive yellows in certain parts of the game.

This preset is performance-friendly, and I observed no FPS drops even on my low-end PC. It works well across both high and low resolutions, but for 1920x1080, I recommend avoiding FSR1, FSR2, or interlaced rendering, as these cause excessive sharpening and negatively affect the visuals. If you must use scaling, I suggest disabling Delc Sharpen.

This preset can also be used in other Resident Evil titles. Thanks to its lightweight effects, it should fit well with games like Resident Evil 2 Remake or Resident Evil Village.

Installation Instructions:Place the preset along with the shaders in the main game folder. Before doing so, ensure you have Reshade installed, preferably version 6. 3. 3. The main game folder path is typically:

(C:)/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/RESIDENT EVIL 4
