RE2VR Immersion Enhancer (Bhaptics and Truegear Add-on)

Compatible with  RE2 VR MOD RELOADED mod version 1, so that you can enjoy mannual reload with haptic feedback on vest and sleeves.

What this mod does

1. 4-Weapon Holster System and controller haptic

• []The mod implements 4 physical holster zones around your body (Right Shoulder, Left Shoulder, Right Hip, and Left Chest). You can quickly get access up to 4 different weapons by grabbing them from these holsters. Yes, you'll get additional holster on your left shoulder if you have this mod installed.[/]

  []Right shoulder weapon holster sits directly below your ear.[/]

  []Controller Haptic Feedback: You will feel a distinct vibration pulse when your hand enters a holster zone, ensuring reliable blind-firing and weapon swapping. You'll also feel controller vibration during gun fire or melee swings.[/]

  []You can turn off my holsters off if you don't like it. But you'll lose some haptic feedback.[/]

2.  Flashlight holster

• []Grab your flashlight on your Left Chest slot with your Left Grip (might not work with mannual reload mod).[/]

3. Bhaptics and Truegear Vest Support: Integrated full support for bHaptics / True Gear vests & sleeves with unique vibration patterns tailored to weapons drawn from variant holsters. Read https://www.nexusmods.com/residentevil7/articles/25 carefully, or you won't get the vibration exactly as I designed.

You must place weapons in the exact slots as per the instruction above, or you won't get vibrations that matchs the weapon you're holding. Grab each weapon from slots (not switching weapons with buttons).

How to Install

1. Have REframwork.zip (necessary) and  RE2 VR MOD RELOADED (optional) installed in your Fluffy mod manager. Make sure the game is up and running. If not, do not bother to proceed to the next step.

2. Download RE2VR Immersion Enhancer.rar, and install/uninstall with Fluffy mod manager. Be sure to enable my mod after all the pre-requisits.

3.Recommend to have openvr_api.dll in your game root folder deleted, so that openxr runtime is deployed, as I haven't test this mod with openvr runtime at all. It might or might not work well. You can use SteamVR+openxr or VDXR+openxr.

How to Use

• []Lauch the game, you're good to go.  [/]

  []To experience the haptic feedback feature, open the Bhpatics Player or True Gear Player , connect your haptic vest. Haptic feedback feature is off by default, turn it on in the RE menu in Scripts Generated UI, choose your gear in the dropdown menu (bhaptics or truegear), and then click Run Scripts to enable it.  You only have to do these two steps once upon first time installation.[/]
