Description

While this mod is useful for the overall story, it was configured to look best alongside another mod called CLASSIC RE2, which changes the camera mode from over-the-shoulder to fixed cameras, as in the 1998 version. This preset has been refined and improved since the version created by ElMarRoc in 2021. I highly recommend using this reshade with the CLASSIC RE2 mod; Many ReShade mods make the game look more polished and modern, but they lose that aura of terror. This ReShade mod retains the realism of the 2021 mod by ElMarRoc, but adds more definition to the details and a gloomy touch that blends well with the chaotic atmosphere of Raccoon City.

Installation instructions

1. Download the latest version of reshade. This is the website: ReShade

2. After downloading, open it, select re2.exe. Download all the effects, and then wait for the installation to finish.

3. Download the file, unzip and move the ".ini" file in your main RE2 folder (Where re2.exe is located).
