# Gunpowder Merchant (Script)

Trade your extra Pesetas for Gunpowder instantly via a configurable hotkey.

Running out of ammo but swimming in cash? This REFramework script allows you to purchase Gunpowder on the fly. It is designed to be a lightweight, bug-free solution for players who want to focus on shooting rather than looting.

### ⚙️ How It Works

   Default Cost: 10,000 PTAS

   Default Reward: 10x Gunpowder

   Input: Fully customizable hotkey (Keyboard, Mouse, or Controller).

When you press your bound key, the script checks if you have enough money. If you do, it deducts the Pesetas and adds the Gunpowder directly to your case (refilling existing stacks first to save space).

### 📖 The Backstory

The original plan for this mod was to add Gunpowder directly to the Merchant's buy menu. However, the Merchant's inventory is hardcoded into static game files, making it difficult to mod without causing conflicts or breaking with game updates.

This script is the "simpler" version of that idea. It simulates the transaction via code rather than UI. You can stand in front of the Merchant, press your hotkey, and pretend you just bought a crate of supplies from him!

### ⚠️ Fair Play Warning

This mod effectively acts as a cheat. The survival horror aspect of RE4 relies on resource scarcity.

   Recommended: Use this for New Game+, fun runs, or when you are soft-locked due to lack of ammo.

   Not Recommended: Do not use this on your first playthrough! It will likely ruin the tension and balance of the game. Use your conscience!

### 📥 Installation (Fluffy Mod Manager)

1.  Download and install (https://www.nexusmods.com/residentevil42023/mods/12)** (Required).

2.  Download (https://www.nexusmods.com/residentevil42023/mods/14)**.

3.  Download the Gunpowder Merchant file.

4.  Drag and drop the `.zip` file onto the Fluffy Mod Manager window (or copy it to `Fluffy Mod Manager\Games\RE4R\Mods`).

5.  Enable the mod in the list.

6.  Launch the game.

7.  Press Insert to open the REFramework menu, look for "Merchant Extension", and bind your buy key.

### 🔧 Configuration (Change Price & Amount)

You can easily change the cost or the amount of gunpowder received by editing the script file.

Note: You must enable the mod in Fluffy Manager first* before you can edit the file.

1.  Navigate to your RE4 game installation folder (e.g., `Steam\steamapps\common\RESIDENT EVIL 4  BIOHAZARD RE4`).

2.  Go to `reframework` -> `autorun`.
