📋 About This Mod
An overhaul mod which changes the animations of the main game to make them more accurate to mods that replace Leon with female models.
This mod changes nearly all animations from the Main Game to be more accurate to female models which replace Leon. Changed animations include enemy grabs, player animations, melees, death animations, weapons, and miscellaneous things such as ladders and wheels. However, it is not perfect, and some things remain uncorrected and/or off. Floating items and weapons in cutscenes, for instance, are not corrected as I am unsure how to solve this issue You can use Motoka's CG Weapon Snapper To solve this issue. Some Leon-exclusive enemy animations have been changed as well to be more accurate to female skeletons by way of editing the skeletons of said enemies. A few important notes about the mod:
[]The knife holding is sometimes incorrect when you initially load into the game. To fix this you just need to load a Separate Ways save file once, and then load the Main Game save file you wish to play from. If you don't wish to open Separate Ways (for whatever reason), open up the Trainer and turn it on. Leave it on Leon. You can choose which outfit you want, but overall it should correct the knife. Be sure to check "Do Not Load Additional Resources" before you do so, otherwise the game will get stuck loading once you turn off the Trainer.
[]Mods which use Ashley's skeleton or completely custom female skeletons do work with this mod, but there will be some distortions and inaccuracies when certain animations play, as the animations are for Ada's skeleton and not those. Most of the time it looks fine, but there are moments where mods that use unique skeletons may not look the best. Most recent update should generally solve most of these problems, but some may still be present.
[]There is an optional version in the zip file which restores Leon's melees and player animations. This optional version MUST be installed independently of the main mod, otherwise they will conflict and Leon's melees will not be restored. Most recent update should solve most jankiness found with animations on Leon's jacket.
[]The only enemy which isn't corrected is normal Krauser. The only quick fix for him that I use is to use the Trainer to decrease his scale to 90, which generally matches his grapples to Ada's proportions. This fix is unnecessary with his mutated form, which is corrected. Normal Krauser's character code for scaling is ch1b7z0. Alternatively, you can use the "Krauser Correction" addon within the mod's files if you do not wish to use the Trainer. Do be advised, however, that Krauser will have floating knives in cutscenes if you use this addon.[/]
[*]A new addon - the Mercenaries Corrector - has been added with the most recent update (1. 8. 3), which corrects all animations in Mercenaries for mods which replace Luis, Krauser, Hunk, or Wesker with female characters. Not the most useful, given th
