Definitive Playable Ashley and Partner Leon Swap

So this mod took me a long time to put together! Admittedly, I didn't do a lot of the model work on his, a lot of other amazing creators did (I did receive

permission from many of the mod authors! I did ask every mod author credited for this compilation, but not every one of them responded. If they see this,

please send me a message!!)

This mod is a combination and expansion of PPPeachy's older Playable Ashley w/ animations mod (sadly taken down), r2316's Leon over Ashley mod, and my Leon's Animation Over Ashley's mod. What I changed was putting all three together, as well as tweaking several other animations so Ashley and Leon will use their own, giving them more costumes and accessories, and changing the Mercenaries mode layout for Ashely.

A NOTE: TURN HAIR STRANDS OFF! Turning hair strands on is VERY liable to make the game crash. I have NO idea why it does this, and I've tried fixing it before, but the results are inconsistent at best. Some of them have not been replaced because of it.

NOTE 2: This mod is NOT compatible with other outfits right out of the box, I'm SORRY but that's just how it is and I do NOT have the time or effort to add in every character's outfit. I barely even work on RE4R at the moment. If you want to add in the outfit, you'll need to do the file replacements yourself, but you have to make sure you replace LEON'S files and NOT ASHLEY'S.

Update 1: Leon and Ashley's voice clips are now properly swapped! This means that Leon will no longer be using Ashley's breathing sounds, but also means much of her incidental dialogue will be silent, as will her screaming when picked up (though Leon will still grunt and grumble when being lifted).

I hope you guys enjoy this mod as much as I do!! It's playable forwards and backwards, but if you have any issues, please let me know! It will probably be a while before I get to any of them, but still.

Ashley:

• []Ashley is playable over Leon, I had to do some tweaks to her to make things work right, and she still may have a few issues.

  []Ashley moves faster overall. This is to mitigate the issue where she wouldn't be able to make it past the doors where you have to turn wheels in Chapters 2

and 15 on Hardcore/Professional. She can now make it over them while still using her animations! On the flipside, some of her animations are still rather

slow, like climbing over a fence/window or jumping down.

• She uses a lot of her own animations for gimmicks now, as opposed to Leon's. This has a little habit of making a few things look off, but it's mostly visual.
