📋 About This Mod

Create custom fixed camera angles with spherical trigger zones, smart Edge logic, real-time editing, rifle aim auto-stop/resume, backlight toggle, public API for MODDERS, debug tools, RE3.5 AIM style.

_CUSTOM FIXED CAMERAS

Custom Fixed Cameras lets you create your own fixed camera angles in Resident Evil 4 Remake.

The basic idea is simple: open Photo Mode, choose a camera angle, save it, place a trigger, and now the game can switch to that camera when the player walks into that area.

It is mostly made for old-school survival horror vibes, cinematic gameplay, screenshots, videos, experiments, or just making RE4R feel weird in a fun way.

Quick tutorial: creating a fixed camera

1. Open the REFramework menu.

2. Go to Script Generated UI.

3. Open the Fixed Cameras section.

4. In-game, open Photo Mode.

5. Use Photo Mode to place the camera exactly where you want it. Pick the angle, distance, height, and framing.

6. Go back to the REFramework menu and click:

Start Fixed Cameras

This captures the current Photo Mode/native camera view and adds it as a fixed camera.

7. Move the character to the place where you want this camera to activate.

Add Trigger from the Player's Position

This creates a spherical trigger centered on the player’s current position.

9. In Selected Trigger Details, adjust:

Trigger Radius

The smaller sphere. When the player enters it, this camera activates.

Edge Radius

The larger sphere. As long as the player stays inside it, that camera remains valid. This helps cameras overlap and return naturally when moving between areas.

10. Test it by walking in and out of the trigger area.

Done. You made a custom fixed camera with its own trigger.

What is Edge Radius?

Each trigger has two radiuses.

Edge Radius is the larger one. It keeps that camera valid after it has already been activated.

For example:

You enter Camera A’s Trigger Radius, so Camera A turns on.
